up for sale is 1978 Datsun 280z project daily driver. I consider this a project because it still needs a paint job its very original etc.i drive the car daily without any problems at all, the car runs really good especially with the upgraded Bosch 4 pot injectors, a/c is ice cold all lights, gauges except clock work, also the engine has been serviced with a tune up including spark plugs cap & rotor and wires, 5 speed transmission is smooth and doesn't grind or pop out of gear has been serviced with red line gear oil, also the rearend has been serviced with red line gear oil, cooling system has been serviced and doesn't over heat even in traffic with the a/c on, the car still needs shocks as it still has the original shocks, I've driven the car on the highway 75mph cruising. the car was originally blue as you can see in the engine bay and door jams, I've had the car primer and its ready for paint color of your choice. I've done the following things to the car in my ownership.
1.new stainless steel header with s/s down pipe, new muffler with exhaust pipe, and still running catalytic converter, new stainless steel exhaust clamps.2. new ignition switch assembly with 2 keys3. 4 brand new Hankook tires4. new clutch master cylinder, slave cylinder, clutch line5. new brake master cylinder, new front & rear brakes, using dot 5 full silicone brake fluid6. new 240z front and rear bumpers with brackets.7. new front and rear windshield seals8. 6 new Bosch 4 pot injectors
my opinion this is a very nice 280z very complete, in my opinion the cars body is very straight please look at photos and ask questions prior to bidding.the car is being sold in as is condition without any warranty. I have a clean open title in my name. the only payment methods I accept are either PayPal ( buyer pays fees), cash.
