1978 Datsun Z-Series Black Pearl

All original 1978 280Z black pearl edition with 71k miles, only made one year and only year the 280Z was offered in black. The black pearl edition came with specific red and silver stripes over black metallic paint, and equipped with twin side mirrors and louvers over the hatch glass. Less than a 1000 are believed to have been made. This car also has the 5 speed manual transmission. The car has its original paint and stripes these car are known to rot easily, this car has zero rot. The car does have 3 spots of surface rust each about the size of a quarter, 2 spots are on the cowl behind the hood and 1 spot next to the gas tank filler. The paint has some oxidation mostly on the hood. This is a very solid car with no hidden surprises under the paint. The car does have 2 dents, one on the driver side front fender towards the top edge of the fender and a larger dent on the lower drivers door and quarter panel. The car has all its original paperwork, original spare tire/inflator, original blue plates and even has its original tires on it from the dealer. The car runs, drives, and shifts good, the gas tank was removed and cleaned. The interior is in good shape except the bottom of the drivers seat has a tear. All the gauges, radio and lights work.
