This is an AWESOME Little Nissan Figaro. These cool retro rods were built in limited numbers for the Japanese market in 1991 only. They were a special Edition Nissan project to combine modern luxury and reliability with retro iconic classic looks. Really cool little cars. They were only offered in 4 colors so the owner custom painted this one and did the interior to match. Excellent runner/driver with cold AC and US radio/CD player. Get's 45mpg from its 1 liter turbo with plenty of power. Hard top with fully retractable sunroof/rear window is more like a convertible. It runs and drives GREAT!! Great power and balance. Its rust free and frame and chassis are totally solid. Everything works as it should... Definite daily driver capable... Parts and service are no problem. Excellent weekend cruiser or addition to any collection.
Body is super straight and RUST FREE. No collision damage that I can see. Amazingly clean and straight underneath!!... rear bumper has minor surface rust. Very high quality repaint for Japanise market still presents very well but clear coat has begun to fail. I was going to reclear it or wrap it?? Retractable roof fits tight with no leaks and works great.
Interior is redone... Custom seat covers were fit over the original leather... I have not removed them to see underneath but dont feel any tears or excessive ware. Dash is great... gauges and electronics work as they should. Radio has been upgraded to US bad... AC blows ICE cold.
Motor runs excellent...great power from 1 liter turbo with honest 45 MPG. 3 speed auto trans shifts perfect... chassis suspension handle great with power steering and brakes stop straight and sure. GREAT Driver.
Overall this is a nice little hot rod cruiser all around... Awesome weekend cruiser, potential show car, or addition to any collection. I am a collector... this is a good one for any enthusiast, collector, or anyone looking for a cool, classic rod at a great price.
