There were roughly 500 240z's made from 11/69 through 12/69.
This was my friend's car, he had it for 20+ years. I bought it from him with hopes of restoring it. I had the engine bay sandblasted and saw that it has been damaged. I decided that it's more work, than I'm willing to take on.
This car has all original glass and the hatch glass has no defrost lines in it. It has the original engine, but the engine is ceased. The engine has the original carbs with original uncut breather assembly, metal fan and valve cover. This will also come with a good long block out of my 3/70 240z for parts. It has a 4 speed transmission, but I don't believe that it is original. Has 3 original steel wheels and what appears to be an original spare wheel and tire. The spare tire is a Bridgestone super speed radial-20 175 SR 14.
The dash has all the original gauges and comes with spare oil pressure, fuel, temp and amp gauges out of my 3/70. It has the original steering wheel with horn button. Original center console with both choke cables. Original fan/heater control panel. Original Hitachi radio, but the face plate is in poor condition. Original seats.
Rust issues: has some in both front and rear of driver and passenger floor pans. Has some rust in the spare tire area. No rust in the hatch slam panel. Very little rust in the hatch itself. Little to no rust in the rear wheel wells. No rust in the battery tray area.
