1972 Datsun Z-Series

Offered for sale is a 1972 (mfg. 4/72) Datsun 240-Z. 4psd, w/ factory air ( no compressor) Mostly original Mexican Orange paint, black interior. 118K miles. Long- term storage, but runs good. (no noises, smoke, or rattles)fuel stabalizer added to fuel tank last year, but fuel looks bad. Now running on a temp. fuel source to check operation. New starter, brakes were done years ago, now feel spongy. ( hoses, master cylinder, clutch master, etc) Body-wise, well worthy of repair. Has had a driver floor pan fitted in the past, as well as a complete inner/ outer rocker assy. on the driver side of car.
Car needs pass. side outer rocker panel, pass. lower front fender panel, lower panels in front of rear wheels, and pass. wheel arch panel replaced. Front frame rails good, (small rust spot near swaybar mount) but fender well (front) needs welding. Battery tray is good, but needs repair beneath. Rear tail light panel, doors, hood, hatch are very good, as well as lower front sheet metal and rad. support.. Has a fiberglass front driver fender and quarter panel fitted. Seats are torn in the lower center insert along stitch seam... could be saved. Dash is PERFECT ... zero damage.Headliner fine. Glass is fine. Tires have great trea, but are old.Missing door panels and carpets... never had them.
All in all, a cheap way to get into a 240-z. Check recent sales for actual values.
I have had this car for years... bought it as a parts car, but too good to dismantle. Never had a title for this one, so being sold on notorized bill of sale. With this you can use a title service such as Broadway Title Service etc.,to obtain a title if needed. Car comes with air cleaner cover and driver tail lens, not pictured.
