Description:
1972 Datsun Z-Series
This is a 9/72 Datsun 240Z rolling chassis ready for restoration, or conversion. This is a rolling chassis with no engine, no transmission, no differential and no fuel tank. The body is straight with the exception of multiple dings. There is rust in the usual places. Badly rusted areas or the floor pans have been cut out, as seen in the photos. Doors, hatch, and hood operate normally. An inspection of the frame rails, wheel wells, shock towers, all are as they should be. The roof shows NO distortion. The glass is good, the windshield has scrapes from the wipers. The headlight buckets are metal, not fiberglass, and are intact, having good housings. The paint is blue, the original color (no. 115). Good muffler, header and tailpipe will come with the car.All gauges are present, not the clock. Steering is good. Parking brake works, brakes need fluid and adjustment. The heater and housing, fan and A/C housing are present, but controls are missing. Inside window cranks are missing, as are most all of the interior parts. Seats are missing. There are no rear lights. Please carefully view all photos of the car as this is what you are getting. The car has clear AZ title.
