I am the 3rd owner of this exceptional and very original 1981 2CV. The first owner was a Doctor in the Cahors region of France who sold it to his brother in Vancouver BC who then sold it to me in 2006.Original VIN# is VF7AZKA0070KA2413

I have cared for the car with the highest degree of attention and nurture. Engine and carb were rebuilt and detailed less than 1000 KM ago, which included new pistons, rods, clutch and syncros.This 2CV runs and drives like it came off the assembly line last month. No hesitations off the line and once in third gear zooming down the road over 50mph straight and solid with no shakes or drifts. Brakes safe and straight.

Body is rust free and solid. Paint job precedes me and is honestly a 7.5. That never bothered me because I wanted to enjoy driving it without worrying about any gravel chips. Novices would rate the paint 8.5 but I have a very critical eye that picks up every imperfection.

Top and tires are newer and perfect condition. Wheels have been reconditioned and repainted. Interior is original and in very good condition. I replaced all of the springs in the seats so they don't sink or sag. Mirrors have been rebuilt with original frames. Front lights are the original French yellow lights. If your state only permits white lights, they are very easy to replace.

Everything works including the windshield washer, all key locks, dome light, etc.. I can honestly say that this is likely the nicest 2CV currently for sale online. I am loosing garage space due to downsizing homes which explains why the starting bid is so low with no reserve. 2CVs in this condition are fetching over 20K. Below is a video of the engine running.
