1987 Citroën CX GTi 25 (CXA car) 5-Speed Citroen

Relisted due to previous bidder making no contact or payment....DON'T BID IF YOU DON'T WANT THE CAR, how hard is that to understand? This is a 1987 Citroen CX 25 GTi. This is a CXA car, which was the only official importer of Citroen CXs back in the day. They did crash tests, reinforced the doors and bumpers, and even registered as a manufacturer of automobiles to import them legally. The other company that was importing these was CINA, which did a terrible job of making them road legal. It is listed as a CXA on the title, not a Citroen.I purchased this vehicle in the summer of 2020 and did extensive work on it to get it back on the road. It had sat in indoor storage for 16 years prior to my purchase. This is my 4th CX that I have owned so far, my family has owned 8 total, and I learned to work on these cars with the help of my father, who used to work for Dave Burnham's Citroen Repair in Esperance, NY. Most of this work was done in the summer of 2020 to get the car back on the road:-Replaced 90% of the hydraulic lines (OEM Citroen parts, some Copper / Nickle line)-Replaced Sparkplugs-Removed fuel injectors and cleaned them-Drained the fuel tank and replaced lines where needed-Replaced fuel pump-Replaced rear height corrector-Cut out rusty areas of front floor boards and replaced with riveted metal, treated with anti rust paint-Removed and cleaned the starter-Fixed an issue with the sun roof motor-Replaced the fuel pump relay (Big Blue)-Replaced the flywheel sensor-Fixed multiple electrical issuesThis car has been my daily driver for the past 3 summers.
The interior of the car is in excellent condition, the only issues I can see is that the foam in the door cards and seats is starting to degrade a bit and causes yellow dust to sometimes accumulate. No rips, tears, or burns on any of the upholstery. There is surface rust on the underside of the car due to it sitting in a damp garage for a couple years before being put into dry storage. There is no structural rust anywhere on the car. I took pictures of all the imperfections on the body, so please pay careful attention to the pictures. At some point this was a blue car as you can see in the trunk picture. The main issues with the car:-Gas odor in cabin if you fill it up more that 1/2 way-Gas gauge is sticky but works if you tap on it-Trip odometer doesn't move-Small dings and dents (see pics)-Small exhaust leak in the front flex pipe-Rear of car doesn't go into the lowest position due to a rusted actuator arm (I have a NOS OEM replacement for it)-AC doesn't work-Cabin fan squeaks when put on full blast-Center storage compartments are broken (as with 99% of all of them)That's pretty much it. It's been super reliable for me the past 3 summers, I have put almost 10,000 miles on it in those summers alone. It's a blast to drive and is comfortable beyond belief. I would be confident that this car could make a cross country trip with no issues. If you have any questions please don't hesitate to ask. Vehicle is located in Upstate, NY near Cooperstown.
