1934 Chrysler Other

I’m lookingto sell my late ’34 Chrysler Airflow CU with the iconic waterfall grill. The four-door is running, driving, stopping, insured, registered and a survivor car. Amazingly, the car is “all there.” The only part that is missing is one window crank escutcheon. My guess is this car was DIY “restored” thirty or forty years ago. The chrome was painted and has been stripped since. The paint is rough in places for sure, but, for me, the value of the car is its originality…it feels and look like an old car. I’ve owned 30 classic cars and this is the last one. It’s getting too hard for me to work on as I have some physical issues that are making it difficult.

The big need at this point is ELECTRICAL. The headlights and taillights and brake lights need to be wired. I’ve purchased and mounted exterior turn signals (period truck light) and they all need to be wired. The period chrome turns signal indicator is mounted on the steering column and is ready to be wired. The battery gauge on the dash works, as does the speedometer and odometer. The heat gauge also works. The gas gauge does not. The hood vents work, but the front windshield windows do not open. One of the mechanisms is missing. I have one. I have a bunch of spare parts, some window replacement glass (though I like the delaminated look). The driver side and passenger side windows are one of the unique features: full window goes down (including the wind wing) as well functioning independently. All the doors and window work. There’s a spare included. I also have an extra set of original keys. I bought the car from Washington state where the car was warehoused indoors. There’s no rust on the frame at all. There’s a little rust at the edge of the back end. Car comes with tons of Airflow Newsletters and manuals and books. The car comes with a car cover. Hagerty insures the car for the price they decided on: 50K.

I have many photos as well as a video of the car starting, running, driving and stopping. These were taken two years ago. The battery is now dead.
