1951 Chrysler New Yorker

This is a true example of an all original survivor car. When I receivedit, it was believed to be all original with nothing changed since new possibly including the air in the original tires! I kept it as true as possible but did replace the tires with new replicas, new brake and fuel system, bearings and general maintenance item to make it a driver. It is equipped with a fluid-matic working transmission (works as it should), In-line flat 6 with high compression. It drives so shooth I feel like I'm floating on a sofa. The paint appears to be all original with the exception of the driver's front fender which may have had dent removed and paint blended. Glass is great condition, chrome represents itself very well with some pitting hard to see when shined up, interior is all original and in great condition but does have a few stains and a bit of an old smell. I did not try cleaning or shampooing the interior or treating it with scents. I'm sure it can be cleaned up more. Trunk area look very presentable and original. There is nothing I'd change on this car. It has been sitting for about 18 mts so may need fuel flushed again and battery.

Since I have not driven it far enough to evaluate it's road worthiness, I recommend it be put on a trailer, but it is a driving, stopping auto that should be ready to go.
