1984 Chrysler LeBaron Mark Cross Edition

This was my father's pride and joy. He purchased it new in St. Louis in anticipation of retiring to Ft. Myers, FL. The only winter it spent in St. Louis, it stayed garaged. After relocating to FL, it was always garaged. It is loaded with every option available that year - windows, locks, seats, tilt wheel, cruise control, big engine, Mark Cross interior, and digital instrument cluster with verbal reminders - "The key is in the ignition", etc. It had about 72,000 miles showing when the odometer quit about 2 years before he stopped driving in 2018, so I figure it may have about 75,000 original miles. I hear the Chrysler enthusiasts call the 2.6 Mitsubishi engine the "Baby Hemi". It certainly moves this car with no effort.
This 39 year old car is all original but had been driven by an elderly man. The defects are the driver's seat and console leather showing its age, a scrape on the R mirror and R rear bumper end caused by getting a little too close backing out of the garage one day and it is missing one wheel cover center cap. The RF window has stopped working and the LR window apparently has come loose from its regulator. The other 2 work properly. It was always serviced regularly and has never been in any accident. The owner's manual, top boot and key for the wheel cover locks are all there, as well as the spare, jack and tire tool. The top is original and is power operated.
It still drives fantastic for its age. It has been taken out and "limbered up" every few months since he stopped driving. I wish someone who purchases this will appreciate it for the true survivor it is and repair a few things to bring it back to its former glory.
I have been storing the car in my garage here in SC while the estate was probated. It has a clear FL title.
