Another car has caught my eye and I have no room to keep multiple toy cars, so I’m reluctantly listing my Conquest for sale. Here’s your chance to grab a very quickly appreciating classic with all the right attributes.
Brand new parts installed over the past 3 months:
NAPA Battery, Yokohama ADVAN A052 Tires 225/50/16 front, 245/45/16 rear, Front swaybar bushings, Front brake rotors, Front brake pads, Rear brake rotors, Rear brake pads, 2.5†Down pipe, 2.5†Cat-less mid pipe, Oxygen sensor, Radiator, Cooling fans, Thermostat, Water pump, Clutch master cylinder, Clutch slave cylinder, Spark plugs, Wires, Cap, Rotor, Oil filter, Air filter, various light bulbs.
Prior to the new tires going on, the wheels where stripped, polished and the grey areas repainted. The front seats were disassembled and recovered in hand stitched leather. The stock turbo has also been rebuilt.
This car can be driven and enjoyed immediately. It could use a paint job as the original paint that is on it is sun faded and a couple of spots on the driver side rear fender have been primered. Also there is a fist sized dent near the passenger door handle. Other things the car could use is an A/C recharge. It works but leaks out quickly at the compressor. Please keep in mind, this is a 31 year old car, so you're not bidding on a new car here. This car was rust proofed by the original selling dealer.
The reserve is set to a very reasonable amount, so bid to own it. Clear/clean Florida title in my name in hand. Buyer is responsible for organizing and paying for shipping if required. The car can be collected in person from the Tampa Florida area. The car needs to be paid for and collected within 10 business days of the listing ending. $500 deposit due immediately after listings end via paypal. The balance is due cash in person, Cashiers check or wire transfer. Car will be released to buyer once payment has cleared.

A few very astute folks asked some questions that I thought should be shared with everyone interested.
Despite what the history report says, I have not owned the car for 16 years. I bought the car 3 months ago from a dealer over on West Palm beach. The owner before me was the one that owned it for 16 years. I bought it as a running/driving project.
The exterior cosmetics are as I bought it, I planned to have it painted once I was finished sorting out it’s mechanical issues. The paint on the car is original, so it’s not hiding anything. That being said though, the paint is not salvageable, it cannot be buffed out, it needs to be repainted. The dent by the passenger door handle looks to me like it would pop out pretty easily. The rear view mirrors are missing paint entirely.
As far as driving the car home, that could definitely be done. I have been driving it on short trips not too far from my house. I have only had it registered for a couple of weeks, so I’m still building trust in it, but so far it seems to be a great car.
Someone asked about the dashboard and headliner. The dashboard is in really nice condition, the headliner is like new.
I will include any and all spare parts that I have for the car. I don’t have much as I’m not one to keep old stuff but I have a few things that will be included.
Regarding the reserve and buy it now. I prefer not to disclose the reserve, although as I type this, it’s not far from meeting reserve. I did not put a buy it now on it because there’s always the hope of a bidding war at the end.
Any questions, please don’t hesitate to ask.

Final update before the listing ends.
More people have asked about driving this car home long distance. With all it's new parts, I see no reason why it couldn’t be driven, but do keep in mind the cars age and it is still a work in progress as all old cars are, and I haven't driven it very far in the short time I've had it registered. Long distance drives are entirely at the buyersdiscretion.
With the whole Covid thing going on now, people definitely want to consider shipping. I’ve shipped cars from state to state in the past and once you factor in flights, gas, and your time, it’s often a better scenario, plus the worry of driving an unknown car long distance is no longer a factor.
Anyway, the reserve has now been met, so bid to own it!!! Good luck.
