I say RARE because they only produced 2,435 New Yorker Two Door Hardtops in 1959 making this car a VERY RARE FIND INDEED !! It only has 28,154 ACTUAL ORIGINAL MILES SINCE BRAND NEW and yes we do have an odometer statement from the previous owner. It still retains it's - FACTORY ORIGINAL - drivers door pillar mounted Chrysler VIN plate - FACTORY ORIGINAL - front cross member in front of the radiator mounted Chrysler data plate - FACTORY ORIGINAL 1959 Chrysler handbook - FACTORY ORIGINAL 1959 Chrysler color brochure - all of which are shown in several pictures below. The motor also sports the FACTORY ORIGINAL four barrel intake manifold, FACTORY ORIGINAL exhaust manifolds, FACTORY ORIGINAL "Golden Lion 413" scripted valve covers, FACTORY ORIGINAL air cleaner housing and the FACTORY ORIGINAL four barrel carburetor. Sounds GREAT too with the factory style dual exhaust system. The engine is backed by a SMOOTH !! - "PUSH BUTTON" !! - three speed - Torqueflite - automatic transmission that also functions very well.
