1960 Chrysler Imperial Lebaron

Rare 1960 Imperial Lebaron Southampton (hardtop) one of 999 built. Blue with blue interior. Solid, California black plate car, still has the pair of black plates that have been with the car since 1963 and the registration with those plates. Complete except for hubcaps (I may have one I can include, I need to check through my parts). The hubcaps appear on ebay a few times per year and are not impossible to find. I have the passenger side fender "Lebaron" script and the trunk lid "Lebaron" script (They are not on the car)The car has new Coker wide whitewall tires and the rims have been sandblasted and powdercoated black. The tires have 0 miles on them. Hard to see in the pics, the car is stored in a desert area which is why it's so dusty.The doors on the car have some rust holes in the corners, I will be including a set of all 4 rust free, solid doors There are a few small holes, in the trunk and on the lower fenders (small, some bubbling on bottoms), but the car is very solid over all. It's always been a California car, it's not a rust buck from back east. Lower quarters have no rot. Floors are good. Rockers good.The hood and trunk lid are rust free and straight. I put the best ones I had on the car. I have the hood lip trim for itIt has power windows, power vent windows, and power seat, passenger side mirror, no AC.The interior is, obviously, dried out from the California sun and needs to be redone. The dash isn't bad though. There is an extra rear seat top which you can see in the photo of the rear seat area. Rear seat bottom is solid no rot. There are no missing parts in the interior. There is rocker sill trim and some other extra parts for the car inside it.The chrome and stainless is pretty nice and the front bumper and grille or shiny. No "junk" trim on the car. Has the stainless steel roof inserts.All glass is good.The 413 V8 engine is complete. I have the air cleaner and an extra carb for it. It turns over by the key (the car has keys) and sounds good, like it will fire up. It's stored at a friend's place and he hasn't had time to get it running. The car has been off the road for many years.I have the title-- it's the old California pink "slip"
Very rare and unique car and an excellent starting point for a project. You will not see another one of these for a long time.
