For sale is a hard to find 1968 Chrysler Newport convertible. Clean title
Well optioned with sportgrain trim woodgrain down the side. Originally a H code 383 h.p. with dual snorkel air cleaner, magnum manifolds, and dual exhaust. The original engine is no longer there but now has a mid 70s 440 in it. The engine runs pretty good and starts with a key. The transmission seems to work well.
The car has factory air conditioning that is complete. I am not sure if it works or not. Factory bucket seat interior that is complete but needs redone. Original am/fm stereo is there but not installed. I am unsure if it works or not.
The body on the car is very clean. I have found zero rust in the floor pans. There is light surface rust in trunk but is still very solid with no holes. The body has no rust other than a small area on left rear 1/4 panel that looks to be starting to rust. There are minor dents in the body but they should be pretty easy areas to fix.
