NO RESERVE AUCTION, 1955 Chrysler New Yorker Deluxe Convertible. Only 946 NY convertibles were produced in 1955 Vin # N5539793. This Chrysler is an excellent candidate for restoration. Very few of this year remain. As few as 15 of these cars exist world wide according to an internet article a few years ago. This is truly a collectible 1950's car with lots of class and elegance.

The convertible is equipped with the following options: Power Steering, ower Brakes, ower Windows, ower seat, ower to, clock and radio. All options believed to be originally ordered and installed at time of manufacture. The paint code on the data plate is 48,body Desert Sand with black spear insert. The interior is Navajo Orange and Desert Sand. The seats have been reupholstered in vinyl and cloth sometime in the past. Presently the car is painted in gray epoxy. The car has been owned by me for the past 25 years.

The running Chrysler Firepower 331 Hemi serial # NE5542844 believed to be original is equipped with a 4 barrel carburetor, owerflite transmission and dual exhaust. The engine starts and runs good. The carcan be driven on to a trailer or a flat bed truck.

The odometer presently reads 09107 or 109107 having passed the 100000 mile limit. Actual mileage unknown.
