Up for sale is a 1989 Chrysler TC by Maserati. This car was the culmination of a joint effort between Lee Iacocca of Chrysler and Alesandro de Tomaso of Maserati. The car was built in Milan, Italy. The body panels were fabricated by Innocenti and the interior is swathed in Italian leather. Under the hood is Chrysler's nearly bulletproof 2.2 liter Turbo II motor. So, you can drive a sexy Italian convertible without needing to go to an Import Mechanic or go broke buying Imported parts for repairs.
With 94,000 original miles on the original speedometer, this car has been driven and enjoyed, but is in very good condition for a nearly 30 year old car. To the best my knowledge, I am the third owner. The car has no rust that I know of. It has never been wrecked to my knowledge. I believe it is all original. All power accessories work. The body is straight and the paint shines, although being a 28 plus year old driver, it is not perfect. There is some fading of the clear coat on the plastic bumpers and mirrors. It has some dings, chips and scratches, but the car is still a looker with its Exotic Red paint.
The Ginger Interior is also in very good condition. There is some wear to the driver's seat on the edge where you enter/exit the car. Otherwise, the interior is beautiful.
The car is a two seater, with storage cubby behind the seats plus full trunk. This car comes with both the original donut spare and a full size spare that we added in the trunk.
It has an insulated removable hardtop for driving in the colder months, and a retractable Black Haartz fabric soft top (with glass rear window) for easy topless motoring in the warmer months.
