Up for auction is a very nice semi-classic convertible. The interior is in amazing condition, it still has a like new car smell and new car shine on the carpets. It has its original owners manual and umbrella. The tires are like new and the soft top looks to have hardly been used. The hard top is nice (the porthole plastic windows have de-laminated on the outside). The car drives very well and all the electric power features work well. The air conditioning blows cold, the factory stereo works well. The paint and body looks to be all original and in very good condition for a twenty six year old car.
I noticed that the interior looks different in the pictures. The last pictures of the interior were taken when some clouds came over the car, the color of the seats/interior looks like the first pictures.
NOTE******The car was donated to a charity by the previous owner due to changes in the California smog laws. The car passes the emission test (tailpipe) and has all the correct equipment. However, a common issue with these Mitsubishi/Chrysler engines are rubber valve stem seals that shrink and make the car smoke under hard acceleration; therefore doesn't pass the new "snap acceleration" test. The car drives normally and does not smoke under normal driving, but because of the California smog issue.....THIS CAR IS BEING SOLD TO OUT OF STATE BUYERS ONLY.
This is a two owner car. The car has a clean Autocheck report and clean California title.
