1988 Chrysler Fifth Avenue 19,948 Original, Florida senior driven miles.
You are looking at a beautiful low mileage original Chrysler Fifth Avenue. Senior owned and driven up until a few years ago. Purchased new at Bayview Chrysler by a Canadian retiree and shipped to their winter home in Florida where it was always garaged and used sparingly. Currently owned by a fussy collector who is downsizing. The car has never seen salt or snow and is in pristine condition with no rust anywhere. It has always been serviced at the dealers and fanatically maintained by fussy seniors. All original including the 4 factory installed Goodyear Arriva P205/75-R15 wide white wall tires that are still in excellent shape. The car even has the original wiper blades. The steering wheel, gear shifter, brake pedal and all controls show no wear. All options on the car function as they should from firey hot heat to window fogging ice cold Climate control A/C. Even the Opera light electro-luminescent fiber optics are perfect. The car has original paint with the exception of a small touch done at the Chrysler dealer in 1989 on the drivers side front door where a grandchild got too close with a bicycle handle. The paint still retains its factory shine. All original pinstripes are present and are in perfect condition. The padded vinyl top is as new with perfect stitching and no fade. All of the interior is in perfect condition also with no fading as well. The carpets are covered by the original factory floor mats which have always been covered by dealer installed Mopar rubber mats. The head liner is in good condition and still looks great for the most part, but it is starting to come away from the shell in the corners. An easy repair at an interior shop for a few hundred dollars. I do not have a source locally for that unfortunately or it would be done. All chrome and stainless is as new. All rubbers are soft and supple. All four corners are without damage. All lenses are shiny and clear. The engine and transmission both perform flawlessly. The under hood area is clean and dry and free from leaks. The car rides as a new car should with the front end being very tight as you would expect. The undercarriage is as new also with only the slightest of dirt on the floor and frame. The car still has its original exhaust and brakes, both of which are in excellent condition. We have lots of paperwork including bill of sale. The car is appraised and insured for a modest $16,000.00. Independent assessment and recent DOT inspection as well as an additional 100 pictures are available for those interested. For the Canadians, the car has approx 35,000KM . The car is currently in our heated garage and can be held there until pick up is arranged. Importing an antique car to the US is a simple process and requires only a simple form to be filled out at the border. Any questions... just ask.
* 4 Brand new Toyo Extensa White wall tires are being installed today as there seems to be a flat spot on one tire developed and is causing a slight vibration. A 4-wheel alignment by the dealer will also be done. Original tires will be bagged and go with the car.*
