1994 Chevrolet Caprice POLICE 9C1 GREAT RECORDS 1 OF THE BEST AVALABLE!!!

Just in this ultra nice civillian easy life use rock solid 1 owner since 1995 factory 9C1 5.7L Tune Port factory Corvette engine & 4L60e automatic overdrive Police pkg loaded cruiser! This one has lots of nice features and is the right one and this car has a very interesting history so few have survived the years but you have found one of them! The story as we were told on this gem is as follows. In 1994 the City of Newark N.J. Schools were taken over by the state due to management change so no purchases requiring bids were able to be made without state approval. The School Board members decided they needed new cars to keep up on everything. Knowing the state would not approve such spending they decided to do an end run around the state. They bought seven new Caprice 9C-1s on the state piggyback program for "security" just they made them just a bit better than a normal cop car. They added full wheel covers in addtion to center caps, D car thru-out, ull 60-40 cloth seats, arpet, rg floor mats, ruise control, ual exhaust, wheel disk brakes, p-grade engine and oil coolers, nterior work light, M-FM casette stereo, igital dash with guages and certified calibrated speedometer, ilt wheel, loth rear seat, -80 Posi rear, ower trunk release dash mounted, ower door locks, c and much more! So it is a full blown cop car. The state caught on and demanded the cars be disposed of. An ad was placed for a sealed bid sale in the Newark Star Ledger and was sold! This one went to a PSP Corporal at the near by Dublin Barrecks for $16500.00 on 4/21/95 with less than 3000 miles from the original delivery date to the School Board was 7/29/94 so a 1-owner since 95! We have just about every last piece of paper work for the car including the first temporary tag registration bill of sale to the Corporal and much more! He was a fanatic on paperwork and we have loads of just about perfect service history. The car was always garaged at his home and parked under a portico at the barrecks. He retired 12 years ago and got a security job at a special ed school that he held till fall of last year when Cancer stopped him and he passed last winter. Now the car is here in Ga and ready for next owner! This is the right one and is in driver/survivor/collector quality! Vehicle is offer at a great value and is not priced to haggle there are pretty much none out there like this and this one is one great find the new owner should love it!
