hi i began this cab off rest about 8 months ago. frame was media blasted as was the cab. the cab is rust free as well as the frame and hood. fenders and doors had rust in the usual areas that was cut out and patch panels were welded inplace. i did a real quick job on the doors and fenders as i had originally intended to replace them but since a new baby in the family has changed my plans. it still looks great but if you are going for perfect u will need to replace the doors and fenders, r take your time and do the right.it has a rebuilt 327, ot sure if it is the original motor that starts right up and runs great.4 spd manual trans works perfectly and clutch is good.brakes work but sometimes the rear passenger side shoe gets stuck from a stop and u need to put in reverse to free up. this will be a easy fix.tires will need replacement but hold air.the gauge cluster reads 29,000 miles and based on minimal ammount of road grime id say that it is quite accurate.
the truck is in oakdale, a. 20 mins east of modesto.
