pro street camaro tube chassis car
1979 Chevrolet Camaro
Engine: 468BB. Steel crank good to at least 750hp or more if its an eagle crank. Just not sure, ut engine shop said by the bearing part numbers, t probably is an eagle. Ground .010/.010 Keith Black pistons. I will update the part numbers for the pistons and bearings shortly, ust want to get this started. Will also list the engine builder after I dig out the folderfor car. Has front engine plate and Crane stud girdles as in picture. Lots of recent maintenance. New digital 7 plus programmable MSD box, nd coil. New HP series 750 Holley carb, ir cleaner, istributor, 600 dollar aircraft grade fuel pump & filters, Recent dyno tune shows car to be about 550hp at crank. Ports in intake for nitrous if you desire. Has not been sprayed.
Transmission: turbo 400 with high 4000's stall. Switches wired in shifter are programmed to new MSD box for maximum performance in every gear/shift. New TCI aluminum transmission pan and filter- holds more fluid, rans locking dip stick. Dip stick for trans is also a quick disconnect up top and at pan for easy maintenance. New line lock. No trans brake currently. Shift pattern PRN123
Rear: Ford 9 with ladder bars. 513 gears powering new 32x17.50x15 Mickey Thompson ET street tires.
Car: Nice car! Low miles on odometer. Easy to tell this was made a race car early in its life. Very nice aluminum interior with rivets. Cage and frame painted to match car. 10-12 gallon fuel cell. Recently had rocker bar put in car, ndthen certified for 8:50's. NHRA sticker is on cage as seen in pictures, nd I have paperwork filled out and signed by Bob Gibson this summer. The car has been a roller most of it's life. The engine build was done in 2007, ut I'm not sure when it wasput into the car. Someone had turned thecar into a pro street from race car. The line lock had been removed, nd the seatbelts had expired in 1997 for the track.Drivers belt is now new. I bought the car summer before last because I wanted something to drive while my nova was getting restored. Also, thought we were going to get a dragstrip in our state again, nd started to convert the car back to track ready. Now the car is truly ready to do what you want with it, ace and or street. This car is slick inside out, nd the engine is very healthy. If I kept the car, 'd put a trans brake in it and possibly upgrade the brake system, ut I've sunk enough time and money in it. Drive it or put your finishing touches on it. You will love this car.

Car stays in trailer per photo. Update of paint chips description and pictures as follows. Only 3 small chips. The biggest one is on drivers door which are the first two pictures. The speed shop did that one because they loaded the front clip wrong. The other two look big because I did close ups, ut they are pretty small and that is the passenger fender. I could do a touch up, ut figured I'll let you do it if it bothers you.

You guys know about how much it is to build this car. The powertrain (big block, rans, ear)alone is probably around 17k plus, ncluding the set up of the rear end. Then figure a 7k paint job, nd all the aluminum work, hassis, nd cage work, ew electronics, heels & tires, tc. The fact that this car is certified for 8:50 is huge. Most of all everything is done classy, nd everything works, ights, ignals, tc.
