Up for sale is a 1972 Chevrolet Chevelle. Overall, the car is in very good condition and is mechanically sound. This is a turn key, drive anywhere car. All modifications done within the last year by previous owner including a fully built 468 big block at 11:5:1 compression, modified TH350 transmission w/ 2500 stall converter, and a rebuilt 12 bolt rear end w/ 4.10 gears. The motor has a Holley 750 CFM carburetor, stock cast iron heads that have been ported and polished with a 3 angle valve job including 800lbs valve springs, new valve retainers, roller cam with at least 600 lift, Edelbrock Performer RPM intake manifold, and Hooker long tube headers into a new, true dual 3" system w/ Flowmaster mufflers dumped before the rear axle. Motor is rated at over 500 crank horsepower. Recent paint within the last year 8/10 with very minor blemishes. Interior is a 7/10 being mostly original with gray bench seats and new black carpet. There is no rust or rot ANYWHERE on this car. The undercarriage is a 9/10 with undercoating. Originally a small block car from the factory with column shifter. The suspension has the original components with newer struts in the front and air struts in the rear. The bleeder valve is under the rear bumper and is fully functional for the air struts. The wheels are Weld Racing Pro Stars with 165/50/R15 up front and 295/50/R15 in the rear. Tires are in fair condition.1970-1972 original 350 non-SS Chevelles are on the market for up to $30, 00 as with the same year SS 454 Chevelles as high as $60, 00. For what this car has in it so far, it is a very nice piece of American muscle for a modest price. You will not find another Chevelle in this condition with this type of modified motor and drivetrain for what this auction is asking for.
