“1957 Chevrolet Bel Air Convertible that’s been thoroughly and thoughtfully updated for modern performance while preserving its classic charm. This beauty features a complete chassis rebuild with all-new components, powered by a 350ci crate motor paired with a fully rebuilt 700R4 transmission. It rides on a new Strange Engineering Ford 9-inch rear end with 3.73 gears, cruising comfortably at 70 mph around 2200 RPM. The suspension has been upgraded with front coil-over shocks, front and rear sway bars, and a new rack and pinion steering system. Stopping power comes from Wilwood disc brakes, ensuring modern braking performance. Additional upgrades include a Dakota Digital dash, new complete wiring harness, Rain Gear windshield wipers, and all-new side glass with fresh window cranks and mechanisms. The convertible top has new pump and hydraulic cylinders, and the car stays cool thanks to a new Entropy radiator—no overheating issues. From the firewall to the rear trunk, it’s been insulated for a quieter ride. While the paint has a few scratches from being garage-kept since the repaint about 15 years ago, this car shines with plenty of new chrome and is 100% mechanically sound. It runs and drives great, with far too many new parts to list—truly a turn-key classic ready for the road.”
