Up for sale is a 1953 Chevrolet pickup with an inline 6-cylinder engine. The motor turns over freely, but I haven’t tried to get it running yet — a great candidate for a full restoration, patina cruiser, or custom shop truck.

This classic Chevy has solid bones and very little rust for its age. The New Mexico climate has kept the bottom of the doors solid, and the frame and body are in good shape overall with only minor surface rust. The original patina gives it tons of character.

You’ll have 30 days to make pickup arrangements, so there’s plenty of time to plan your trip. Gas is more affordable these days — perfect excuse for a road trip! While you’re here, enjoy New Mexico’s famous green chili, visit local Native American vendors at the largest flea market in the Four Corners area, and take home mementos to remember picking up this classic pickup.
