1969 Chevrolet C-10
Texas pick up that I have owned for close to 10 years.
Professionally replaced the floorboard and rocker panels, new sound insulation and carpeting installed.
All original metal and patina besides the front inner wheel wells, 2 partial floor panels and rocker panel replacements. We also swapped a new rear fender instead of keeping the monster of a camper rear bumper.
Front seats are out of a Honda Odyssey, I have the original bench seat.
We put in a 6.0L LS truck engine with the matching 4L80 tranny. Electronics running via a Holly Terminator control. New fuel tank was put in and the filler is behind the rear license plate holder.
Factory AC is all intact but needs lines installed to work.
This truck starts every time and is very reliable. Fun to drive and the 8-1/2' bed is great for when you need it.
I have run out of energy and time to finish this up. All my remaining time is dedicated to a 1955 Chevy 3100 p/u.
NYS does not offer a title to a vehicle built before 1973. They do give a transferable registration, which is what I have. The VIN # to the truck is CE249S830008
Odometer shows 29,107 miles. Probably 129,107 miles. Odometer was disconnected when switching to the newer engine and transmission. Less that 3,000 miles since the switchover.
Many parts come with. Some original and still of value. Some are new that I never got to.
