For sale/auction is my1988 Chevrolet Corvette with only 25,170 original miles, finished in a rare black-on-black color combination with the removable glass hardtop.

Fewer than 1,800 black-on-black coupes were produced in 1988, and of those, only approximately 640 were equipped with theDoug Nash 4+3 manual transmission, making this car one of the most rare and desirable configurations available today.

From Washington State, originally owned by a retired Air Force pilot, the car remains all-original aside from a professionally installed MagnaFlow exhaust.

Service and Maintenance:

• Complete service at 22k miles including:

  • Rear diff service

  • Both transmissions serviced (manual and automatic overdrive unit)

  • Coolant flush

  • New spark plugs, wires, distributor cap, and rotor

  • Oil has been changed every 1200 - 1500 miles since I've owned the car

The car runs and drives well with no known issues. The paint, interior, and mechanical components are in great condition for the year, reflecting the care it has received throughout its life.

Known Flaws –

• Driver’s seat: There’s a hidden flaw in the bottom-left corner of the seat back—only noticeable if you're looking closely. Seat controls on the left side are partially separated but fully functional; it’s been that way since I bought it and never bothered me enough to correct.

• Door speakers (2) are currently not functioning.

• Dash: Typical of ‘80s GM cars, the top and bottom right screw holes have small cracks.

• Exterior Paint: Overall 7.6/10. Paint still has great depth with no clear coat peeling or fading. As with most black cars, there are minor swirl marks, but it buffs out very well.

• Hood: Two small scuffs (dime-sized) near the passenger-side headlight.

• Passenger door/fender: One 1" deeper scratch—the most noticeable flaw on the car, though very minor. I never felt the need to touch it up.
