This well cared for 1978 Chevy K5 Blazer lived on a beautiful working dairy farm near the U.S. Canadian border for years and the Cardinal Red paint and interior color scheme is truly eye popping. The engine runs beautifully with only 107,328 original miles and a recent total transmission rebuild so the driving experience is excellent. It’s a very fun rig to drive around and it goes down the highway at 70 mph excellent. We just took it on a 350 mile adventure and listened to some of my old from storage cassette tapes ;-)The factory list of options is :

The factory cardinal red paint is pretty amazing for 47 years with the normal touch ups over the years. The front seats have been freshly reupholstered with top notch materials. The engine runs flawlessly, and the new transmission shifts excellent. Original carpet still shows well for its age. Factory A/C functions but could use some freon. Brakes are very good, tires are nice 31x10.5R15, and she goes down the road straight and comfortably. Edelbrock performance intake manifold/Edelbrock carburetor with new distributor, gaskets, points, plugs, wires and she fires up easily every time. Its equipped with a heavy-duty tow/trailering package that can definitely handle whatever you throw back there. The factory dual exhaust sounds great and has newer mufflers and pipes, tips. The Manual Roll-Down Rear Glass functions seamlessly. Factory 6 lug rally wheels and beauty rings are the icing on the cake. The original owner’s manual still resides in the glovebox ???? and the original sales brochure- which is just pretty awesome! It’s also equipped with rear mount spare tire for easy access. The dash has a Kenwood Am/Fm cassette deck and there are 4 mounted speakers which function and sounds good. Lights/horn/gauges all function and we just ordered a new speedo cable only as the original needle has the typical bounce ???? the undercarriage is in excellent condition as expected. This is a remarkable and beautiful k5 with excellent care over the years and definitely gets thumbs up wherever we drive.
