1973 Chevrolet Nova Coupe Orange
1973 Chevrolet Nova
This is 1973 Chevy Nova (with a 1970 front clip and cowled hood) in competition orange. This car is a 23 year old frame-off restoration show car with an airbrushed waterfall mural under the hood. I purchased this Nova as a non-running car from Northern Indiana (originally a Florida car and restored in Florida). This 1973 Nova is powered by a GM 350 Crate Motor with less than 7000 miles, and it is married to a 350 turbo transmission. This car does need work!! It has a significant oil pan leak, and a transmission fluid leak, that will need to be fixed before it can return to a daily driver. I no longer have a garage to work on it, nor the desire to fix it. The car is currently sitting in my storage unit. The car starts, runs, and drives as it should (other than the leaks). If you live further than 30 miles away you will want to bring a trailer to tow it home.

-
- It does have a significant oil pan leak. I have the replacement gasket. Will need replaced before driving any significant miles.
- It does have a transmission fluid leak.
- Speedometer works but it is not accurate.
- Fuel gauge does not work, although the fuel tank is newer.
- The car does NOT have heat or air conditioning.
- Paint is bubbling around fenders and paint is cracked other places. It looks good from 10 feet, but the car needs stripped and painted.
- The windshield weather stripping has shrunk and will need to be replaced. (Never driven in the rain)
- The car could use new front end components (springs, shocks, etc.) But drives as it should currently.
