1968 Chevrolet Biscayne Base

This car was delivered new on April 4, 1968 in Lake Park, MN. It was originally equipped as a 6 cylinder with a 3-speed manual column shift. It has been professionally converted to a V-8 small block Chevrolet with a Turbo-Hydramatic 350 automatic transmission. I also added power brakes (drum), which are sensitive and work great! It currently has 17,600 miles on the odometer.It has a single respray in Tripoli Turquoise. There's no indication of rust or bodywork of any kind. The photos tell the story. In late 2016, I decided to re-create the best-looking muscle car era police car. The 1968 Chevrolet Biscayne design with Coke bottle-styling and its front and rear fender bulges inspired by the Corvette made it the obvious choice.

My 18-month search ended with a 9500 original mile car. This "police special" is an accurate re-creation of a 1968 Chevrolet Biscayne police car from Glenview, Illinois. These cars were commonly used by police departments throughout the United States. The door decals can easily be changed to any department name. The equipment/decals can be easily removed. I will give a credit for any equipment removed before delivery.

A close inspection will be obvious to most automotive enthusiast that the mileage appears to be correct. I have thousands of dollars in receipts for maintenance and equipment. At a National Impala Association meet I was told by several judges and participants, "This car is the nicest '68 Biscayne 4 door sedan in existence." You be the judge!
