1991 Chevrolet Camaro RS Coupe 2-door 5.8L
1991 Chevrolet Camaro Custom
The vehicle has 222k miles on it...that is not a typo. However, it has a built motor, professionally rebuilt transmission, and rear end, all with only 4500 miles on them. I have paperwork for all of this. I am the second owner. I purchased it from a woman that bought it new from the dealer in 1991. Window sticker picture is included and will be included with the vehicle. It is a stick shift. Never been wrecked. Clean title in hand. Garage kept it's entire life. There is ZERO rust on this car. Meticulously maintained by the original owner as I removed the original factory motor from it to install mine, and the original motor was still going strong at over 217k miles. It's been babied its whole life and still is to this day.The motor I built myself. It's a 350 small block bored out to 355. Edelbrock carb, Edelbrock electric choke, Edelbrock intake, Comp Cams distributor and timing set, Scat connecting rods, Scorpion 1.5 rocker arms and push rods, Eagle crank, Kieth Black domed pistons, World Products cast iron heads, Shorty headers, 4 core aluminum radiator, Melling high volume/high pressure oil pump, high performance aluminum water pump, McLeod Super Street clutch kit, new alternator, new starter, new battery, and more I'm sure I'm forgetting. All factory gauges function properly. Please feel free to ask questions or ask for more pictures.(I had the hood popped open in the video. I only say that so you don't watch the video and think the hood sits funny.) All pictures were taken in the past couple weeks. The ad I purchased on eBay only allows for 1 video, links to more below. Message me and I'll send you more pictures of whatever you want to see. Serious inquiries only please. The car....new shocks all the way around. New headlights. Newer tires (have 5k miles on them) Wonder bar. New rotors, shoes, and calipers on the front brakes. New drums, shoes, and hardware on the rear brakes. Has the original dealer installed rear louvers. All interior lighting converted to LED. Restored dash pad, no cracks. New power window motors and switches. New rear hatch latch mechanism. New AC compressor and hosing/connections. (The AC is fully hooked up, but it does need to be pressure tested and charged.) New front seatbelts. Windows tinted (except the rear hatch window). Tinted tail lights. Flowmaster exhaust, it sounds VERY good. The body lines and gaps are all uniform and the car looks very good. There is a crack in the front spoiler shown in the pictures. It is over 30 years old and it was driven daily for over 25 years by the original owner. Its been a weekend cruiser for me. There are a small imperfections to be expected on a car this old, but it is very good looking in person and gets a lot of looks and compliments.Repainted the factory color approximately 7 years ago and fully custom interior also done about 7 years ago. You'll never see another interior like this. It gets a lot of compliments!!! The previous owner did the paint and interior, I have no paperwork for that. The white pin striping was removed and the hood stripes and 355-Z writing on the door are vinyl, they can be removed if you don't like them.NOTE!!!!! The fan temp sensor needs to be replaced. This is the sensor that tells the fans on the radiator when to come on. Instead of replacing this sensor, I installed a switch on the dash that allows me to turn the fans on whenever I want. This is a $7 part located on top of the intake and would take about an hour to replace. A local mechanic here priced the job at $82, please keep this in mind. I'm just too lazy to do it at this point. The car runs properly, you just turn the fans on manually once you get going. I've actually come to prefer the switch and installed one in my other classic car. :-)NOTE!!!!! The clutch safety switch has been bypassed. The engine will turn over without the clutch pedal depressed. I did this so I could start the car leaning thru the window to warm it up instead of having to get in and depress the clutch.NOTE!!!!! The AC system is all new components. The system does, however, need to be vacuum tested and charged. It runs and drives as it should minus the AC I mentioned above and the fan temp sensor. The car is solid. It has no issues that I am aware of other than the 2 I listed above. I would not hesitate to throw my 3 kids in here and take off on a road trip. It is reliable. Unfortunately, my heart is just not in it anymore and I need the garage space for other ventures/projects.Free local pickup, I'm 20min south of Nashville Tennessee. Send a flat bed to pick it up. No delivery. No trades.Feel free to ask questions or for more pictures. Serious inquiries only please. You can drive it AFTER you purchase it. Happy to start it up and drive you around in it, but ONLY the owner will be allowed to drive it. I'd be more forgiving if it was an automatic. Happy to set up a live video as well.Warm up drive:https://youtu.be/CScR60M6efM?si=JZIU_2CivS61-KwUOn ramp/interstate driving:https://youtube.com/shorts/7Sb5QoQUUwk?feature=sharedVehicle walk around:https://youtu.be/K_dsrL91Q8Q?si=Dq-iwUDWaK57XlaSTrust me, this is the one you've been waiting for. It has over $15k in motor under the hood and a one of a kind interior. You will never see another one like it.SOLD AS IS WITH NO WARRANTY OR GUARANTEE OF ANY KIND. THE $500 DEPOSIT IS NON-REFUNDABLE.AGAIN, SOLD AS IS WITH NO WARRANTY OR GUARANTEE OF ANY KIND. THE $500 DEPOSIT IS NON-REFUNDABLE.PRICE IS NEGOTIABLE. MAKE AN OFFER!!!NOTE!!!! The car is being sold thru eBay. It is a process. They have to receive your payment which can take 3+ days. Then they email me a label to send them the title. Then they process the title and arrange to pick up the vehicle. It may take 2 weeks for this process to occur. The car is kept in its own garage that only I have access to. It can stay there for free and will not be driven for as long as this process takes if needed. Please contact eBay motors at 866-322-9227 with any questions about how this works and how long it may take. Please be patient. Good things come to those that wait. :-)
