1984 Chevy El Camino 3.8L V6 Coupe Utility Pickup. Rear-wheel-drive, G-Body. • Clean Title • Runs well & Drives great • Please see pictures for accurate visual representations of the vehicle’s current condition, including normal wear and tear, and any notable flaws or damage which will also be noted in this description. • The Frame is solid, and in excellent condition with minimal surface rust, no holes or weak areas, and no repairs have been done on the frame. • Front windshield is cracked on the passenger side, as seen in pictures, does not leak water but needs replaced eventually. • Heat and AC both need some minor repairs. The heat doesn’t blow but gets warm over time, and the ac system is not hooked up to run, missing a belt and some refrigerant lines. • The Gas Guage has a bad ground wire that needs attention. • Needs a new Ignition actuator, which is the little plastic gear piece that Actuates the Column Ignition Switch Rod to start it. It starts with a screw driver at the moment. • Needs the ignition lock cylinder with a key. • The harmonic balancer needs the rubber seal that seats around the front of it that is currently missing, which in turn causes it to make a knocking noise briefly and only right after you start it, then the knocking goes away. It needs the rubber seal that is currently missing, which that and the ignition parts are all $10-$20 parts. • Fully functional, working as they should, air shocks were installed in the rear recently. • I’ve got a mechanic that can do the ignition repair and the front main seal on the harmonic balancer, get the heat going, and the gas guage working. It’s just a matter of matching schedules with him and having the time to do it. ***With that said I’m selling it AS IT IS currently in the condition it’s in, described here and seen in the pictures. I’d like to get some small repairs done to fix some of the minor discrepancies listed in the description, between now and when it sells. If I do get any of it done I will update here in the description. *** Selling AS IS in its current condition. Please note that it Starts right up, Runs Great and Drives Great despite having a few minor mechanical repairs needed, all of which that are known are listed in this description.
