For sale- 1938 Chevy business coupe. This car is a restoration or hot rod project, and is not currently drivable. It has the original 206 straight six engine and 3 speed manual transmission. I have not tried to turn the engine over.

This car is practically just a rolling shell with engine and transmission, it’s missing parts and pieces including the running boards. The exterior body is actually pretty straight, and has had some patch work done to the tail end. The roof looks excellent. The front fenders look pretty good, rear fenders are just decent. All original steel. The floor behind the seat is completely gone, and the trunk is starting to go. Surprisingly, the floor under and in front of the seat looks pretty good. I don’t know when the car last drove, but based on the wheels and tires it looks like maybe back in the 70’s it was going around. A real barn find of a car. I had plans to throw a big block and straight axle at it and send it down a drag strip, but I’ve got too many projects ahead of this one so it’s time to set it free.
