1989 Chevrolet V2500 Suburban SUV Grey V2500
1989 Chevrolet Suburban V2500
This Suburban has a 5.9 Cummins industrial motor so none of the Dodge conversion problems. Done in 1994 when original owner blew up the original 350 Chevy motor trying to tow a 12000 lb trailer. This was created to do that. The original own gave it to his son to use. He install the fancy stereo system and had Les Schwab Tire install a 4” lift kit and aftermarket wheels and tires. I got it from another relative and it needed a lot of work. I maybe the second owner or forth depending on your definition. I got the title from the original owner when I registered it. It is clean and in my name. I had Cummins Northwest repair the charging system. I had the transmission rebuilt with billet parts by Transmission Solutions in Eugene Oregon it has a semi automatic controller that can be locked to behave as a manual.
Vehicle Details
The suburban is currently drivable as is everything works as it should, with the exception of the tachometer because the sensor magnet fell off and I haven’t replaced it yet. There is a broken right rear side window and a headliner collapse both shown in pictures. Also it needs a paint job there is service rust on roof (see pictures). The Air Conditioner needs a recharge but the defroster works.
