Description:

1967 Chevrolet Impala

I am extremely proud to present an absolutely exceptional example of this very desirable and collectible 1967 Chevy Impala 4 Door Hardtop that has been modified in the style of the car that appeared in the TV seriesSupernatural.

This is an extremely rare 4 door that is very hard to find with a completely rust and accident free body with a solid and original undercarriage. It was wearing it’s original paint when I bought it and converted it into Dean’s Baby!

It is finished just like the show in black over black and tan and is powered by a 350ci V8. The Powerglide two-speed automatic transmission was converted into a TH350 3 speed with a remanufactured unit and associated steering column. The car was refurbished with a repaint and a new interior after I bought it here on eBay back in 2016. Features include chrome 15″ wheels, power disc brakes, chrome bumpers and trim, a dual exhaust system, and a show correct Audiovox Rampage cassette stereo, which are no longer made.

Originally finished in green, inside and out, the car was repainted in black during the restoration.

Chrome 15″ wheels are mounted with BFGoodrich Radial T/A tires measuring 215/70 in front and 275/60 in back. Braking is provided by disc brakes in front and drum in the rear.

The cabin features black bench seats along with a tan dashboard, door panels, and carpets. Other features include crank windows, an Audiovox cassette stereo, and aftermarket speakers mounted on the rear shelf. The Audiovox doesn’t have the hightest quality output so it outputs to a very nice 4 channel amp, which drives all of the speakers. There is a Bluetooth cassette adapter so you can stream from your iPhone and the stereo sounds amazing!

The weatherstripping was upgraded during restoration and this baby cruises down the road smoother and quieter than any classic I’ve ever ridden in. I drove this from a few miles north of the Mexican border (Las Cruses, NM) to very near the Canadian border (Post Falls, ID). I’d drive it anywhere in the country right now.

The three-spoke steering wheel wears a wrap just like the real thing and fronts a 120-mph speedometer, a fuel gauge, an analog clock, and warning lights. Total mileage is unknown, but about 5,000 were added since I bought it in 2016.

I left the trunk modifications for the next owner to finish with the arsenal of his choice.

This was a desert car from southern New Mexico. It had one tiny spot of rust about the size of a silver dollar behind the rear passenger wheel, due to a leak in the trunk weatherstripping. Everything else was well preserved by the dry desert climate.

This is an a/c car, just like Dean’s, but is missing the compressor and needs to be hooked back up.

Included with the sale is the famous green Coleman ice chest. Also, I’ve sourced an extra stereo still in it’s original packaging just in case this one ever fails. I’m including that in the auction, as well. Finally, I found an unopened Supernatural model, which is also going with the car.

I am more than happy to assist with shipping.

I've always liked videos better than pictures so I've included some below. Please let me know if you would like to see any specific videos or pictures.

The rattling noise in the drive video is a couple of seat belt buckles that were sitting on top of each other. I didn't notice it during the drive. The slight rattle under the hood was the power steering pump pulley was slightly loose. I have since tightened it and it no longer rattles.
