1983 Chevrolet C/K Pickup 1500

1983 Chevy K10 4X4. My loss is your gain! I bought this beautiful truck in 2017 with the intent of it being a hobby truck but an overseas assignment and starting a family didn’t leave me the time necessary. I purchased the truck on Ebay from a seller in Georgia and only know about the history of the truck from the original details listed on Ebay. Per the original listing, the truck has a newer model crate 350 with cam and headers. It is an automatic with a shift kit. It has a new bucket seat, carpet and headliner. Power window motors were just replaced and has power locks, power steering, and power brakes. The truck was showing 75,600 miles when purchased in 2017 and is currently showing 80,684 miles so I only put 5K miles on it since then. This truck was garage kept since I’ve owned it and was in a professional storage facility for three years while I was stationed in Japan where it was regularly maintained. It was repainted before I purchased and the paint is in good condition with the exception of cracking in a couple places (see pictures) and scratches in the bed of the truck from use. The only work I have done on it are adding a Holley Sniper Electronic Fuel injection system with a hyperfuel surge tank and new distributor and ignition wires. Total cost with labor was $3300. The engine runs very well and starts every time with no issues. It could definitely be a daily driver if you can afford the gas! It has a cowl hood and custom breather with K/N filter and flowmaster exhaust and has a 3 inch lift with 33 inch tires in good condition with plenty of tread. The original owner said the front end was rebuilt and has locking hubs in the front. I never used it for offroading and only drove it around town on roads while I’ve owned it but I have put it in 4wheel drive to ensure everything was functioning normally. There is no A/C in this truck and it looks as though most of the original A/C equipment was removed. I had plans to install a VintageAir A/C but never got around to it. There is no radio in it either. The original owner also removed the side view mirrors for a sleeker look and I never had them reinstalled. The body of the truck is solid and straight with no visible rust on the body and minimal rust on the undercarriage (see photos). The steering wheel has some play in it but that is common on these older trucks. This is not a show truck and there are little things throughout the truck that need to be fixed but with some attention to detail, it definitely has the potential to be with little investment. The dash looks to be newer but there is a crack near the gauge cluster (see picture). The speedometer just stopped working in the last month as well but it seems to be an easy fix so I will attempt to fix before it sells. The glove box door doesn’t seem to be attached correctly so it comes loose when opened. The outer door window seals were removed when painted and never reinstalled and the small triangle door windows are kind of janky and some of the hardware needs to be replaced to close securely. All of the small issues on the truck can be easily fixed for pretty cheap with parts from LMC truck but I never had the time to get to it so the truck has just sat in the garage the majority of time I’ve owned it with the occasional drive on the weekend. This truck gets a lot of attention literally everywhere I drive it. I never make it to the gas station or grocery store without getting stopped and having a conversation about it. I have over 15K invested in it so I'm hoping to at least make that back. Feel free to message me with any questions and I will answer to the best of my knowledge.
