1965 Chevy Nova , Neat fun ride.
1965 Chevrolet Nova
1965 chevy Nova 2. This car is fun and always gets looks and picture takers. It is not a trailer queen car, it's a driver but show worthy as she looks decent. I bought this car a yr or so ago and have driven it a mere 60 miles, not be cause of the car I just don't go far.The car was restored like 20 yrs ago so she's ready for a Repaint as there are some chips ect.. the gaps need readjusting. There is some pitting on the OEM chrome and the steel chrome wheels. The drivers side window needs to be replaced as I think they used a post car window in a hardtop, misses going all the way up by 3/4" or so. I have the windows down and don't drve it in the rain. Everything I mention here has NO effect on the cars ability to be driven. These are things I would do in the off season to make it better. This car was a 6cyl car at one point, they added the SS badging, it is not.It now has a 327cu in engine out of a early corvette I was told. Has double hump heads, it has a mild ca, headers, sounds like they put a geardrive in it. Aluminum edelbrock intake, Holly 4. Barrel ( which I feel is to big (750) . Muncie 4 speed transmission. The front springs were change during the engine swap. It still has the 308 rear gears and with this combo it's geared low, I think she will wheelie ????. Definitely not a highway car at this point.Had all new sheet pans, fenders trunk pan 20 yrs ago. I see no filler. The trunk pan looks like rust but it's actually the coating they put on it peeling up a little. The wires you see in the pictures are from a sound system I was taking our, I'm a old racer and like hearing the engine. Your welcome to it if you want it.im also kind of a perfectionist so there's alot of tlc that it can withstand. Not perfect but perfectly fun ! Ask question and don't bid if you can't pay or don't want it. I'm in upstate NY so keep that in mind for shipping expenses. Fair. Reserve for what your getting.I'm hesitate on selling it because I'll never find or have another one but I'm 66 and just don't drive it enough and don't really have the funds to take it up a notch. Thanks for the patience in reading this.

A decent pickup truck could be part of the deal if it's right !

I want to mention that the trim down the side of the car is stick on, I would remove it during a Repaint and buy a repo original, also needs the back top fender peak molding. I have a new catalog that will go with car.
