Description:

1967 Chevrolet Corvette

Original Red/Black 427/435 HP car. 86,200 miles which I believe is accurate. I have owned this car since 2005 and have the owner history back to 1973. The car was shipped new to the Chevrolet dealer in Bridgman, Mi. per the NCRS Shipping Data Report. It spent most of it's life around Elkhart Indiana. This car is a very nice driver that has never been apart and has been adult owned and garaged since at least 1973. The quality of this car reminds me of what you could have expected to find in the 80s.It has been painted one time over original paint. Paint is presentable but not perfect. It was painted prior to 1973. The exterior chrome and trim is mostly original and in very good condition including dated outside mirror. Black top is good but not perfect (has a seam coming loose), back window is clear. The original black interior (included in sale) was tired so I replaced it with the new Al Knoch white interior in it now. Included is a brand new pair of BLACK Al Knochdeluxedoor panels in the box. Custom Autosound AM/FM/Cassette player with 10 disc CD Changer. Original radio included. The frame is one of the nicest I've seen in a mid-year.I bought the bolt-ons and redline radials new. Original to this car wheels, trim rings and center caps are included in sale.Currently has a 350, #621 bellhousing, 4-speed and 3:55 posi that have been in it since before 1973. I installed a new rear spring and u-joints. The last picture shows the car as it looked when I bought it.Some special points of interest:1) Has original dated windshield (white "ASI" logo)and side glass.2) Beautiful original dash pads.3) Still has both original 427/435 only factory peened rear spindles with the "O" stamped in them (see picture).4) Original to this car 427 radiator and fan shroud.5) Included is a correct dated un-stamped virgin pad 427 4-bolt main block that needs work.6) Correct rebuilt dated heads with new guides (not knurled), new swirl polished stainless valves and new springs. Pressure checked and all ready to bolt on.7) Correct dated newly rebuilt restoration 4-speed transmission by 4 speeds by Darrel.8) Original to this car "696" alternator rebuilt by John Pirkle.9) Original to this car horns (never rebuilt) that have incredible sound.10) Original to this car Glove Box Door and interior rearview mirror in great condition.11) Headlight motors work.12) Has the LB sticker on the back of the instrument cluster. This signifies that the gauges are a 6500 redline tach and 80# oil gauge. 427/735 HP used this configuration.13) It has a beautiful Tank Sticker (see picture), unfortunately it belongs to the Corvette that was built right before my car. This was documented by Roy Sinor with the NCRS Document Validation Service.I encourage anyone seriously interested in this car to ask all the questions you want and to inspect the car in person. That is why I ran the auction over 2 weekends. Phone: 419-234-2628. NO TEXTSPlease note that this car and title will stay in my possession until I have cleared funds in my bank or cash.
