Relisting again due to another non-paying 'buyer'. If you are clicking the 'buy-it-now' button, please honor your commitment. If you make an offer and I accept, please honor your commitment. I remember when car people were men and women that held up their end of a deal. Are those days gone??? Since Ebay will let anyone with a keyboard "buy" stuff and not hold them accountable for not following through, I must put this paragraph before the car description in hopes of weeding out the tire-kickers. So, if you are still reading this and have a genuine interest in the car, then here we go ....

1967 Camaro SS350 with RS package, 4 speed, 12 bolt posi.

The following information is everything I know about this vehicle. Per the previousowner ... “I have owned the car for about 20 years. I have known about the car since the early eighties. I used to drive by it every day on my way to work. 2 fellas were always wrenching on it and racing it on the weekends. It had a big tunnel-ram and scoop with no hood and big fat tires with mag wheels. One day on my way to work I saw a for sale sign in the window, so I bought it. When I first got it I had the motor gone through at the machine shop. They bored it out, I think 30 over (I cannot confirm this) and added a hot cam (I do not know the specs on the camshaft). I also had them install a set of racing cylinder heads (these are World Products Sportsman II heads with roller rockers part #1-037. I confirmed these when I removed the valve covers to replace the leaky gaskets). They took off the tunnel ram and added a Performer intake and big Edelbrock carb (it is a #1406, 600 CFM). After I got it back from the machine shop I put the stock hood on and the car hardly got any use. I have only put about 2000 miles on it in the last 20 years.”

I purchased the Camaro in Fall of 2023. After adding a tank of clean gas, jumpstarting the battery, some air to the weathered tires and a quick wipe down of the dusty windows I was on the road for a 100-mile trip home. The Camaro ran great at 65mph. No problems. Once home I began the task of cleaning it out and putting back some missing items (seat belts, floor mats, mirrors, wheel-well moldings, trunk mat). Front brakes pulled hard on the drive home, so instead of rebuilding the worn-out shoes and wheel cylinders I installed a power assisted front disc brake conversion on the stock spindles and wrapped the factory steel wheels in a set of new 205/70R14 white line tires to give that cool original look. Fuel filter, distributor cap, rotor, plug wires, battery cables and a new starter have made this Camaro very reliable. I have driven it to and from work a couple times a week over the last month with no issues.

The car does have some signs of being an old racer ... trunk floor looks to have been patched at one time where a fuel cell was installed, and it appears a battery once resided in that area. Block off plate for the battery disconnect is still present in the rear panel. Welded subframe connectors, Moroso water pump, aluminum pulleys, Hooker Super Comp headers, Flowmaster series 40 mufflers, 10 qt Milodon oil pan and 4:10 Posi 12 bolt rearend round out the go-fast goodies.

Not sure if the motor is original to the car. The motor number pad is not stamped. Transmission looks to be '69 model year and I am unsure on the rear.

I would consider this car a "20-footer". The paint is showing its age, there are chips and scratches and a few 'touch-ups' from years past. All body panels fit well and have no signs of previous collisions or repair. Rocker panels, floors, and quarter panels all appear to be untouched. Glass is all intact, windows all operate well. All trim is present and in driver quality shape. RS headlight doors are not hooked up, not sure if all components (relays/switches) are present. Interior is complete but could really use a refresh to make this a real nice car. Looks good in photos, but seats have signs of previous repairs, headliner has holes and carpet is worn in traffic areas. Door panels and rear passenger area panels are showing their age. Sail panels and pillar trim should be replaced. Dash pad is nice with no cracks or tears. Console is present, but gauges are inoperable. In dash Tach works but reads incorrectly (seems to be a common issue with running HEI distributor with factory tach). Speedo is inop. Radio is missing but a NEW Retro-Style stereo is included with the car. Exterior lights all function (high-beams, stop, turns, flashers). The car presents well and everything it needs is available through the aftermarket. This is a true SS/RS (not a clone or tribute) and is worthy of being taken to the next level. Make improvements while you drive it. Value will only go up. Below are values for this car based on options and condition.
