1949 Chevrolet 3800 unusual 9’ dual spare step side bed. 1 ton, Heavy duty, solid body and chassis, rough ride being a 1 ton and slow but, powerful and really built well. Needs some work if you want to go that restoration route but, quite presentable especially for being a 70 year old truck that runs and drives the way it is. I wouldn’t do much more to it.Engine and trans circa 1971 Chevrolet 350 w/ tilt PB PS. Runs good healthy engine!. Does not have a parking brake lever as the trans was changed but, automatic trans has PARK. Most everything works as it should. Lights heater fan blower etc Bed very nice overall for age, some wood would need replaced eventually. But, bed not all rusty or dented like so many. Rear glass and driver door glass cracked (you can buy it new here on eBay). Tires old but, good tread still and brakes should be serviced before any regular use.This truck great for around the farm, gravel back roads or jaunts around small town. Not a good highway truck as it’s axel geared way low. Top speed I’m thinking 55? Speedometer seems off? Sold AS-IS previous owners family owned and loved it since 1978.
