This 1966 Chevrolet c10 SWB Fleetside has some great bones to it, great Patina cruiser. Rides like a dream, handles well, great power and transmission performs perfectly. Remember this is a good survivor old truck so there are some squeaks and rattles, she needs some things to be taken to the next level but its relatively easy and could be a show stopper very easily.SpecsMotor 283 with a 4 barrel quadrajet and ram horns. Great power out of this motor, has the chevy script valve covers and HEI ignition. The exhaust is 2.25" with glasspack's, sounds very good.Transmission is a Turbo 350, shifts great and feels very solid, the trans fluid is a good pink color as it should be and has a big cooler in front of the radiator.Rear end is a 10 bolt 5 lug rear end. Unknown gears but it drives well and cruises 60 without issue.Front suspension was swapped with a Squarebody c10 to get better control arms and features. Drop spindles and disc brakes get this gal pretty low. The dual circuit master cylinder and proportioning valve work stellar.Power steering has been added to this truck, works pretty well, honestly could use a steering box rebuild as its leaking a bit but works ok.Rear is on drop coils with a bolt in C notch, long panhard bar for keeping rear axle in check.Has Monroe shocks all around on it.Tires are Shaved whitewall tires, they look ok and match the look of the truck.Bed floor is uncut and looks great for match on the truck, the wood is sagging the back of the bed a bit from what I have found, a few shims or new wood in the floor would solve the sag shown in the photos.InteriorAll gauges work on the dash except the Ammeter. All gauges are backlit with LED bulbs so it looks great at night. Headlights have been replaced also up front and LED tail lights in the rear. The seat is a stock set recovered with cream and brown. The steering wheel is a shorter steering wheel to look better inside and give more room for drivers. The steering column has been shifted down 1" to gain room for larger drivers and add in more comfort. The shifter mechanism needs some work as its meant for the orig powerglide and needs more throw for the TH350. It has a bluetooth radio in the stock radio, works great with two kicker 6x9 in the kick panels. The only real rust holes are shown here with galvanized patches done by the previous owner. Floor pan patches are cheap and easy to do, I just never got around to doing it. There is a small hole in the drivers side cab corner, other than that I haven't found much else anywhere.Truck has a new windshield and seal installed, new wiper blades installed. And she has a cocharacho horn also for fun.All windows roll up and down as they should, the doors open and close easily even with the new seals installed.Exterior Modification is the Front bumper over riders, and the 61 chevy truck grill installed. This looks pretty cool and is in great shape, really makes the truck stand out from the crowd for sure.Fires up after sitting with turn of the key, cold starts don't require holding the gas or anything crazy, fires up and idles great.Trucks been driven some miles and is a cool Patina shop truck as it sits.

Added a few videos of a cold start, if she has sat for more than a few days the carb looses some fuel due to evaporation, but hold the key and she pops off. This truck was started 2 days before and this was the videos of today. 05/29/24
