Up for sale is a 1979 Silverado C-20 4X4 pickup with all the options. 4-wheel drive, Power Steering, Power brakes, power windows, tilt steering wheel, dule fuel tanks, slider back window, automatic speed control, auxiliary fuel tank, Air-conditioning and it came Silverado equipped. This 1979 Chevrolet K-20 Silverado 4X4 is the long bed classic pickup with a cool look. It comes with long bed, toolbox in the bed, trailer hitch and a electric brake controller under the dash. The paint is an older repaint in its original color. "Dark Carmine Red" but is showing some age with a few nicks, small chips and some very small rust bubbles on the bottom of the passenger side front fender. I couldn't see any other rust at all around and under the truck, just that one front fender. (Please look at all pictures closely) All the windows are good, and the windshield doesn't have any chips or cracks, but the power windows are a little slow going up. All lights work as they should even the backup lights, and the wipers also work well. The interior is its original and it could use a set of new door panels as they are a little worn and the dash pad dose has some cracks on it. The carpeting is a little worn also. The truck came with the 400 engine but it was replaced with a newer 350 engine at some time, and it starts easy and runs very well. The transmission is its original and is the 400-turbo automatic transmission. Transfer case is its original also and works as it should. The truck has manual locking front hubs for the 4-wheel drive and it is running a set of aluminum wheel with good tires. The air-conditioning is in place but it did not have a belt on it so it will need to be looked at. The brake have new brake lines up front on the power disk 's and work well. This is a good driver quality little pickup not a show truck, but it looks nice with its cool sun-visor, aluminum wheels and its "Z79 off Road" graphic's. A very solid and drivable truck.
