California car that is remarkably straight. Check the reflection down the side, it doesn't have the common tri-5 chevy triple crown, not many out there this straight and flat, not even with the amount of bondo used on show cars. A very famous car builder did a 57 convertible with this in mind, but his quarters were not this straight.Not sure how long this car stayed in Los Angeles, but its been sitting outside in Oklahoma since 1985, and that means it was only driven for about 20 years total. Its NEVER been in an accident, and it seems to have rust mostly where the drain holes were plugged up, other than the obvious surface rust. One of the problems with it is that someone did a terrible job prepping this car for a repaint, so the paint has been falling off of it for a long time. If you check it out you will find that it is a very solid project car. When is the last time you could see inside or even the bottom side the quarter panels for signs of rust or repairs? This car can end up with all original GM metal, but it does require a lot of clean up.The doors fit so good and with proper panel gaps, its almost a shame to replace them, but there are rust free replacement doors and trunk lid that also come with it, and it has a straight seamless California frame. There is no evidence of an accident or even a dent, on the body or frame. It has the California seamless rear bumper, and all the stainless trim exept one of the long quarter panel stainless. The front seat is there, but the back seat bottom is missing.It has the VIN tag, cowl tag, and an Oklahoma title, and if its wanted, I could include a non matching--non running 56 265 engine and powerglide. It needs the drivers side front floor pan, and a few more small patches on the floor, some floor braces, along with patches on both sides of the car at the rocker panel to quarter panel seams. It has a small hole in the right side quarter panel, and the last couple inches at the tail pan needs patching. I have an original floor to go with it, if someone wants to use original metal for the patch panels. There are more parts than are shown in the pictures. It may not be totally complete, but close for sure.I could deliver within 300 miles, 1.00 per mile
