Up for sale is a 1979 Chevrolet Scottsdale pick-up truck. This truck was parked in 1984/85 with 81,016 original miles. I bought it approximately 8yrs ago and again it sat. In March of this year I brought tag and registration up to date. I need to fix it or sell it as is. This truck is being sold ''as is'' not running and the rally wheels and tires are not included in this sale. I will put plain steel wheel rollers on it that may not all match. Has PS, PB, A/C, a locked up inline 6cyl engine with turbo 350 trans. Maybe one of you ''will it run'' You Tubers could get it going again. I will convert to V8 if it doesn't sell. This truck is complete and very solid. The only real rust issue I see is in the hood where mice built nests and their urine rusted out the front edge. Also had a chrome metal hood protector on it. The only other rust is surface rust. Look at pictures close, especially of the wheel wells front and rear along with the floors underneath and the frame. I have no way to get it up in the air to wash the bottom properly. I made a couple passes underneath at the car wash and the dirt came off the frame and floors easily and looks good. Interior is very nice for age of truck. A crack in the middle of the dash, armrests pads are a little curled at bottom. Overall a very good truck for an LS swap and/or a short wide conversion. If the winning bidder wants the ralley wheels and tires, I will sell, to buyer only, for additional $650.00, otherwise they are not included in this sale.
