Life throws us curveballs and we pivot
So I am selling my babies and some of my prized possessions. Let me say this. Non of them are perfect. They are used cars (used things). I am selling as is. Mostly because I have no patients with some people and their expectations of buying something for nothing. However I have taken great pride in the ownership of them. Enjoy. Life is short!
In 1970 they had a strike at the plant. So 1970 is very low production year and desirable. Also this is #18 off the assembly line.
This car is not for everyone. No power steering, no power breaks or power windows. Raw horse power. Basically if you are looking for the adrenaline ride of your life this is the car for you. RAW! Nothing like the vibration in the stick shift and smell as you are trying to tame her around the corners. Going to miss her the most!
Simply she is a labor of love unfortunately for sale.
FRAME OFF RESTORATION.
Engine:
383 sbc with trick flow heads with 170cc intake runners and 2.02/1.60 valve, a comp cams split duration hydraulic roller cam with 510/.520 lift, edelbrock custom black anodized aluminum double pumper carb. It has flat top pistons at 9.5:1 compression and the block was decked and milled. Had the best of everything put in. Maybe just over 500 miles on the engine. I haven’t even had the opportunity to really see what she can do. I was told 500+ horse power!!
Frame off /underbody:
Basically everything under the body is new. Cant think of anything I did not replace. Bought everything from ecklers. I believe 15,000 in new parts. That was 8 years ago. Todays prices it obviously would be much more. Again I bought best money could buy. Labor lets not even discus. Lol.
Interior: new carpet new seats. Upgrade radio looks original with modern internals. New speakers. Interior looks great but needs finished. For example some gages not working. I would buy new door panels. Stuff like that.
Paint is not perfect: has scratch in the back. Explanation can be given. I powder coated all the chrome. I like the blacked out look. Because of the engine not being original I was not concerned about this. Plus I was never going to sell it so I did not care.
She is not perfect. I did not build her in this respect. I built her to drive, relive stress and smile. My loss is your gain.
