CUSTOMIZED 1957 CHEVY BELAIR 210 – DESCRIPTION
This 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air210 Two-Door Sedan is described by a previous owner, as a veteran of numerous rod and cruising events, including Goodguys and Route 66 gatherings.The powertrain includes a 350 ci Chevy small-block V8, mated to a Borg-Warner four-speed manual transmission with a Hurst shifter. The 210 is extensively personalized, including a custom finish with ghost flames and an upgraded interior.
POWERTRAIN
The engine is a Chevrolet 350cu.in. small-block V8 of unstated vintage. In 2023, the previous owner stated that the engine was rebuilt around 10,000miles ago and produces an estimated 300 horsepower. Among the performance upgrades are a Holley four-barrel carburetor atop an Edelbrock intake manifold, MSD electronic ignition and extensive dress-up pieces. There arefront-disc brakes and drum brakes in the rear. The engine is mated to a Borg-Warner T-10 four-speed manual transmission, and the rear end is stock with no posi-traction. The dual exhaust system with exhaust cut-outs on each side, and a pair of recently (Jan 2024) installed Flow Master mufflers, and rear traction bars are also present.
EXTERIOR
The glossy exterior black finish is in pristine condition with no body issues. The body seals glass, and chrome are “in great shape.” Alllights work and pass current strict state safety inspection requirements.The underside is very clean, with no visible corrosion. There are chrome15” wheels with moon caps, and recently (Dec 2023) installed black-wall Goodrich Radial T/A tires.
INTERIOR
The black and white interior has been completely upgraded with 1964 Chevy Impala bucket seats. The materials, seats, door panels, headliner, and carpets are in very good, undamaged condition.The 210 is equipped with a tilt steering wheel, electric windshield wipers, AutoMeter gauges under dash, and a tachometer mounted on the steering column. A Hurst shifter is also present. A custom stereo with side and rear speakers is installed. The trunk is also partially upholstered and in clean condition.
A deposit of $1000.00 is required within 48 hours from end of auction, with the balance due in 7 days, via bank-to-bank transfer. The seller will assist in delivering the car to the shipping terminal for ocean shipment.
