NO RESERVE - 1955 Chevy 210 Four Door with a V8

Price: - Item location: Olmsted Falls, Ohio, United States
Description:

1955 Chevrolet Bel Air/150/210

Up for auction is this 1955 Chevy 210 Four Door with a small block V8 (listen to the motor run in the video... someone dropped the V8 in at some point in the car's history, as the car's VIN number does not have a "V" as the first character). This car was my Dad's. He was having it painted in a professional shop near his home in West Virginia when he passed away in June (I have many pics of the pre-paint state of the vehicle I am happy to share if you are really interested in the car).My Dad bought the car from a guy near his house in West Virginia. It is newly painted in a period-correct color (Glacial Blue Poly and White) but I interpret the cowl tag (see pic) as it starting its life as a two tone Neptune Green and Shoreline Beige (I have a pic of the car before he had it painted I can share if you would like to see it). The car comes with VIRTUALLY ALL THE CHROME (see list below) as well as many other pars so you can get this baby completed! My Dad had 15 vehicles when he passed and this is one project I just don't have a desire to complete.
The V8 motor runs well and is full of power. The car will be road worthy once you put on the (2) brand new chrome bumpers. PLEASE WATCH THE VIDEO AND LOOK AT THE PICS. I've tried to be as transparent as possible. I have a bunch of undercarriage pics I can send you if you are really interested in the car. The undercarriage/frame look really good to my eye.
I interpreted the VIN decode to say it was born in Flint, Michigan. The cowl tag says it had "Green Cloth" interior when it was born (the interior is actually really good for its vintage (not sure if it is original or not)). The VIN and Cowl Tag are in the pics if you want to do some research. Currently there is not a VIN plate on the drivers side jamb, but I took some pictures of what I think are a few characters of the VIN number stamped on the frame under the drivers-side door (a known location for the VIN on Chevy Tri-Fives). I will send these to you and you can let me know if you agree.
