I have a 1960 impala factroy sport coupe 348 glide car for sale . Its a project and needs restoration . All original and has every one piece of trim outside and inside, not missing any and most in pretty good condition that could be cleaned up to look new again. I bought from a original owner in Oklahoma . I bought it as it sits and the 348 single 4 barrel motor and power glide trans were out if the car . They are numbers matching correct for the car . They will need rebuild . Rest of motor parts are in the truck when i got it . I could put motor and trans together and set it the car for buyer so its sitting in there . Can also put front bumper back on also. Body is in fairly great shape compared to most that are rusted out completely with missing trim and goin for 15k to 20k for a real sport coupe . Finding trim in good shape is expensive and so is metal work and having to fix the rust sections . Body is straight except the passenger fender, can be fixed or just get another one . Rockers are soli, around windows and pillars are all solid not rusted . Has a little rust showing on wheel well openings in rear quarter panel as seen in pics . Inside trunk has few rust spots mostly on passenger side as seen in pictures. I do have a new truck section as seen in pics . The inside floor is goo, but does have a big spot that need replacing . Hole on driver side back of driver seat driver front floor board has some pittage but still solid and passenger side is good . Frame is solid . Factory red interior and white. All trim there and in good shape . Factory paint on the outside code 941A shadow grey poly with red stripe along quarter panel . Body brown patina is not rusted just surface and even slightly pitting whatsoeve, just sun burnt paint . Great builder for someone that wants to build it to original spec and or build it as you please . I've owned car for about 4 years now and bought it off an original owner that had it in his barn . Have clean oklahoma title and some original documents from when it was first sold. I do restorations for a living and kept it to buil, but have other builds and things I'd like to do first so just testing the waters to see if it sells. I've seen junk non sport coupe rusted cars go for 15k plus with not much trim and then having to repair and find trim and spend another 10k to find all the missing trim and so forth. Great solid foundation for a build. I planned on doing a roadster shop chassis on coil overs and re sleeving the 348 and pumping it up to make more power or just stick a lt4 6 speed in it and do a resto mod build on i, but having the origal set up I was undecided on goin that route . Time has come to either see of it sells or just keep it and build it end of this year. Buyer can pay through ebay and or bank wire or pick up in person . I can provide a shipping quote from my shipper as ive gotten better rates them most when they look up shipping cost. Buyer can set up your own shipping and pay for it or i can and i can pay for it if the price is right on my end, ill just handle shipping myself included in cost .
