Vehicle Details
I know the history of this vehicle since new. A friend of mine bought this from a municipal auction in 1978 from PG&E. He drove it all through the 80s and into the '90s and sold it to a friend of a friend here in Berkeley in 1994. We were able to drive this over to my shop about 2 mi from where it had been parked from the last several years.
Historical fact- My friend is an old punk rocker and was a roadie for the band Flipper. It has been reported that flipper toured in this vehicle.
It is currently registered and I have a clear title in hand.
The car starts, runs drives and stops. But it has a leak coming from one or more of the freeze plugs. I removed all of the interior and years of dirt and schmuts. So one can get a good honest look at the vehicle and it's current rust situation. The frame is solid. It has a 50 gallon gas tank. I have a front bench seat out of what I'm guessing was a Vista cruiser (or something of the like).
