Highly Documented 1967 Numbers Matching SS 427 L36 Built at the Southgate Plant in California. Has its Functional Smog Pump, Factory Disc Brakes, Factory M20 Transmission, Factory 12 Bolt Posi Rear End with 331 Gears. Car Drives Amazing, ZERO Rust. These SS 427’s are Wholly Grail Cars. In 1993 the Second Owner wrote to Super Chevy Magazine explaining what He had found sitting in a Garage for 11 Years, Super Chevy Magazine responded and Broke Down the Numbers. T=Tonowanda Engine Plant; 01=Month (January); 31=Day of the Month; IX=427 cid/385 hp with Four-Speed and AIR/Smog. I have that Magazine along with Receipts dating back to 1989. All Cars Manufactured at the Southgate Plant in California from 1967-1970 had a Handwritten Piece of Paper showing Various Interior Information including Carpet Codes and some Options, this was Placed under the Passenger Seat. I have that Piece of Paper and an Original Set of Keys Framed. AND NO THIS CAR HAS NEVER LEFT CALIFORNIA, NOR HAS IT EVER BEEN ON MECUM.
